We'll be staying in Davis, a charming little town with plenty to see, eat, and do! The twin town of Thomas is a short drive away, as are Dolly Sods Wilderness and Blackwater Falls State Park.

During the day, grab some coffee and pastries at the hip TipTop Coffee Shop, or visit Milo's for classic breakfast and lunch fare or the Big Belly Deli for more indulgent options. Davis and Thomas also have several cute art galleries and shops to explore.

For hiking and outdoor adventures, check out Blackwater State Park, including the Pase Point Trail where we got engaged <3 (we'll organize a group hike there) and the Lindy Point Trail, which features breathtaking views at the end of an easy, short hike. The Bald Knob Trail in Canaan Valley offers sweeping views, plus a chairlift for those who prefer the bird's eye view. The Dolly Sods Wilderness Area also has some great trails. And for the bravest adventurers among us, there's an unbelievable Via Ferrata Trail in Nelson an hour away.

In the evening, the Billy has some great food and drink options, or else you can head over to the Purple Fiddle to enjoy some live music while you eat. The spot where we grabbed (admittedly mediocre) pizza after getting engaged <3 is Sirianni's. Last but not least, don't miss the local brews at Stumptown Ales!
